Club members offer $1 million for Oddone bail; trial nears start

Its typical how out of touch people with money are, just because he caddies for them "on a daily basis" they think they know him. Oddone is a individual who appears to have gotten away with numerous offences against society with little to no consequences for his actions, that is till now. Now he wants to be out on bail so he can resume some normalcy to his life while he's on trial for murder. To bad Andrew Reiater doesn't have the luxury of carrying on with his life.

Lets make no mistake about it, Mr Oddone will have to answer for his actions, he might as well sit in jail and get use to it." Oct 2, 09 11:25 AM

Yes, Mr Oddone dose deserve a fair trial, nobody would deny him that. But what he doesn't deserve is to be out on bail, and if ill advised people of wealth wish to take the risk and put up the money thats their choice. I've heard enough facts stated in the court room to know he is not a good person." Oct 2, 09 11:35 AM

Oddone trial enters third week of testimony

Appears the walls are closing in on Mr Oddone, The defense attorney seems to be trying to pick apart the witness's testimony, unsuccessfully I might add. It sounds to me that Oddone was fully aware of his actions.

Oddone trial nears conclusion; defense witness challenged

The basis for his opinions are solely based on who's paying him, he's a gun for hire. His salary is relevant, the only reason he's there is for the money, he has no other vested interest other then getting payed to make Oddone look less culpable.." Nov 25, 09 7:51 PM

I think that maybe your not giving the jury the credit they deserve, the excuse's that Oddone used to diminish his actions are all being dismissed by the testimony of others, "I was drunk, I don't remember, I didn't choke him for that length of time" these are lies that the jury will see as a feeble attempt to show lack of intent. I'll give you that his intention to start were not to commit murder, but when he had to chance to stop he didn't. No, I think the jury will be smart enough to see through his defence." Oddone jury will consider lesser charges

I don't think that this is an appropriate forum for your levity.

I think that if this had happened to one of your loved ones you would have a different opinion, its obvious that you like to stir up the comment section with your nonsense." Dec 1, 09 7:27 PM

Jury now deliberating in Oddone trial

Pure speculation on your part. I'm sure a verdict will be rendered, one that will be determined by the facts presented, not preconceived notions prior to the trial." Dec 2, 09 10:05 PM

Defense seeks mistrial; Judge rejects motion

Here we go-------
Its obvious what's happening here, The defence will grab at any straw to derail the trial. Any one of Oddone's sympathizers could have written that for the sole purpose of a mistrial, this way a plea could be offered in order to avoid the cost of another trial.

mflgs should be careful, he could end up on the wrong side of the law." Dec 3, 09 6:02 PM

Absolutely, the defense should defend her client with every legal mean necessary. But grabbing at straws is grabbing at straws, the judges decision to deny her request speaks for itself.

Jury deliberations continue in Oddone murder trial

What might appear as reasonable to us, might in fact not be to the judge. These request by the jury may be redundant or irrelevant. The judge will not jeopardize the trial over legitimate jury request. " Dec 5, 09 11:21 AM

Defending one self in a bar fight?? Its obvious that you think once a fight in a bar breaks out, anything is fair game and that defending yourself is an excuse to commit murder. Lady your a piece of work. Defending yourself with deadly physical force in that situation is murder. " Dec 5, 09 11:31 AM

So now your implying the bouncer was intoxicated, "certainly not the blood alchohol level of anyone involved another curiously missing autopsy fact". The bouncer's job is to maintain order, Oddone was disrupting order.

Oh and by the way, this is not, I repeat NOT a sad accidental death. Oddone was at the least an out of control individual who would not stop his actions even at the bequest of bystanders who at one point tried physically to restrain him, accident, not hardly, " Dec 5, 09 12:07 PM

Thats some tail of woe,

would you like a soap box to stand on." Dec 5, 09 11:18 PM

There are many note worthy comments argued on both sides and many not worth the time it took to type them. The fact is two families will suffer for a very long time. The difference is Oddone made a conscious decision that night to take another mans life over some perceived injustice perpetrated upon him, now he will have to deal with the consequences. " Dec 7, 09 10:41 AM

His intentions were clear to anyone paying attention. Unless of course you have some insight into his mental condition? When somebody chokes somebody for two to three minutes and while doing so has bystanders attempt to stop him unsuccessfully, yes, to me that shows clear intent. His strategy of self defense is ludicrous.
By all witness accounts this was not a fight for survival, at most a shoving match that apparently bruised Oddone's ego to the extent of rage, what other explanation is there?" Dec 7, 09 1:00 PM

Doesn't make it any less a tragedy.
However, we do have a justice system which seems to functioning pretty well, albeit at a pace that's causing a bit of impatience.

I'll agree to that." Dec 7, 09 1:39 PM

Seventh day of deliberations ends with no verdict in Oddone case

So, according to you, if somebody shoves you it becomes a life or death situation?? Come on now who's over simplifying" Dec 8, 09 1:39 PM

What?? Are you and PBR related???? " Dec 8, 09 1:41 PM

Deliberations in Oddone trial resume Monday with testimony reread to jury

And only as an anonymous blogger can you type ridicules comments with out any facts to back it up, here you are pretending to be fair and unbiased. You are one of the most pretentious persons blogging here. IF I were to guess, I'd say at one time you were incarcerated. You certainly sound like someone with a chip on their shoulder in regards to law enforcement." Dec 13, 09 2:29 PM

Oddone guilty of first-degree manslaughter, jury announces Monday

Sentencing will not be till after the holidays, they want to have time to think about how he's going to handle being in a state pen. Hell, maybe he can dance on a table up there." Dec 14, 09 7:13 PM

I want to know where the two pretentious loud mouths are. INS and USERNAME1 had it all figured out. I'm surprised their not here to tell us how much time he'll be sentenced to." Dec 14, 09 7:20 PM

You can dress him up, but a pig in a tuxedo is still a pig. " Dec 14, 09 7:28 PM

I knew I could bait you-- your soooo easy!!" Dec 15, 09 6:23 AM
